Brief Biography

A nobody trying to tell everybody about

somebody: Jesus Christ.

.

Kevin’s brief Testimony:

Kevin was born November 08, 1989 in East Los Angeles, CA. He grew up in Baldwin Park, CA. He is the oldest of 3 siblings. At the age of 13 God drew him to himself and he was saved! He was suffering of an unknown health problem and going to the hospital repeatedly feeling absolutely helpless. He was invited to church and God healed him there completely. His greatest need was to be reconciled with God. He gave his life to Jesus and began the Christian life.

All four years in high school he shared Jesus with his peers at school and regularly got ridiculed, yet he wasn’t ashamed of the gospel. He continually prayed for his peers. He grew steadily in his faith and at the age of 16, he began to have a desire to go to the streets and talk to people as he had seen in the Christian program “The Way of the Master” on t.v. He met a group of Christian friends who had the same desire as him and they went out to do the work of evangelism.

He graduated H.S. and went on to Citrus College for two years to receive an Associate Degree in Social and Behavioral Studies. He was a leader of a Christian club on Campus were they weekly held Bible studies and went out on campus to share the gospel with other students.

He then transferred to BIOLA University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies, where he’s currently at. At the age of 22 he is serving God with a growing passion. His love for God’s mission is evident. He is active in his church serving in an evangelism ministry. He plans on taking his first overseas mission trip sometime soon as the Lord leads. He’s been to New York city twice and lead a small team in urban street evangelism all throughout the city. He hopes to pastor a church someday and work in the advancement of the great commission to the ends of the earth. God saved him in his youth and he is living for Him wholeheartedly!

  1. God bless you, Kevin! Stay on fire for God, just never forget His grace.

A thought just crossed my mind, so I will share it. It may, or may not apply to your life, but you may be able to use it. You can never make God proud of you – He already is. Never try to earn His approval – He already does. A true child of the Father should never feel burdened by the pressure to please Him, for when He looks at you, He sees one who is justified. Give your all to the call, but don’t crucify yourself when you sometimes fail – He was crucified for you. Live free in the grace that was purchased with His blood, for you are more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ.

    • God bless you Pastor A.C.Baker! Amen, all of life is receiving God’s grace! It’s not just in the great salvation we’ve received but day by day we live by his sustaining grace. “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” 2 Cor. 9:8 ESV

Thanks for sharing, it’s always good to be reminded of the sweetness of God’s grace.

Always, for God’s glory and our joy in Him! 🙂

  2. I agree with everything Mr. Baker said, and I would also like to add that You aren’t a nobody. ( I hope that was just a poetic device)
You are the beloved child of our Father. You are also our brother in Christ. I’m pretty sure you know this. 🙂
